Copacabana 1

This project is set in the beautiful Copa basin overlooking Copacabana Beach and headland to the south east. The home is planned as a split level 2 storey structure that steps down the steeply inclined site, allowing the lower level to maintain connection with its bushland setting and upper levels to benefit from the coastal views.

The difficult orientation to gain northern sunlight has been overcome by using a void on the northern side of the upper level to allow winter sun to fill the living levels as well as maintaining the views to the south.
